How the Kingdom of God comes!

Matthew 6: 9"This, then, is how you should pray: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

• Commission – We are called to obey the Great Commission
• Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
• Matthew 9:37 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
• Romans 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
• Overshadow – Holy Spirit inspires us to Pray, Prepare, Practice, Preach and Plan
• Genesis 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
• Acts 8:5 Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah there
• Acts 10:36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
• Acts 11:21 The Lord's hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.
• Mentor – Teaching them to obey everything Jesus commanded
• 2 Timothy 2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.
• Acts 11:22 News of this reached the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. 23When he arrived and saw what the grace of God had done, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts. 24 He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.25 Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
• Ecclesia – Gathered together into Church
• Acts 11:26 and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.
• Colossians 1:24 Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.
• Shepherds – Identify and Train the reproducing leaders
• Ephesians 4:11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
• Jeremiah 23:1,2 "Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!" declares the LORD. Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds who tend my people: "Because you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done," declares the LORD.
