And shall do exploits.

Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt with flatteries; Those who know the Lord shall be strong and do exploits.

Flattery – smooth sayings of false prophecy that seek to seduce and corrupt

Those that really know the Lord will not be deceived or weakened or led astray to worship false gods but shall stand strongly for the truth and display His power and bring glory unto Him.

2 Samuel 23:8 – 23 David's mighty men

• Eleazar – his hand clave unto the sword; and the Lord wrought a great victory that day v10
• Shammah – stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the philistines v11
• 3 mighty men broke through to draw water from the well v16
• Abishai lifted his spear against 300 men, and slew them v18
• Benaiah slew two lion-like men and slew a lion in a pit v20

3 mighty men the most honourable and bravest of the men of David

30 mighty men that stood out from the rest because of their exploits.

Where are the mighty testimonies of God's power overcoming great obstacles and adversaries, amazing healings and dramatic deliverances, where are the great advances, new territories being taken, new churches being planted.

Where does the Lord want to break out next? Where will the next great revival be, the next great move of God take place?

Know the Lord -

obtained by acquaintanceship with God

A depth of understanding developed through long fellowship.

Know the Word of God - let it be engraved upon your heart

Know the Spirt of God - recognise His voice instantly

Know the Ways of God - understand how his principles work

• Psalm 103:7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
• Jer 9:24 but let him who boasts boast about this; that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight.
• Hosea 6:3 Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.
• John 8:31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
• John 17:3 Now this is eternal life; that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
• Philipp 3:10 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings
• Colossians 1:10 growing in the knowledge of God being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience.

Be Strong –

bold, prevail, harden, courageous, firm, resolute

Overcome weakness and become strong, stay strong through all challenges.

Strong in spirit, soul (strong mind, strong will, strong emotions) and body.

• Proverbs 24:5 A wise man has great power, and a man of knowledge increases strength.
• 1 Samuel 4:9 Be strong and quit yourselves like men
• 1 Chron 28:10 Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a temple as sanctuary. Be strong and do the work.
• 2 Chron 15:7 But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.
• Isaiah 35:4 say to those with fearful hearts, Be strong, do not fear; your God will come with vengeance, with divine retribution he will come to save you.
• 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
• Ephes 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man.

Do Exploits –

work, make, produce, fashion, accomplish, act, bring about

Demonstrate the power of the Lord before everyone you meet.

Overcome where others fail, break through where others are blocked, have answers for their questions, faith for their doubts, vision for their blindness, strength for their weakness, passion for their apathy

• John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. `
• Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they might see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
• Matthew 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.
• Jude 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire.
• 2 Sam 22:31-51

v33 It is God who arms me with strength…

v35, He trains my hands for battle, my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

You give me your shield of victory; you stoop down to make me great.
